Job summary

The Oxford Hills School District in Norway, ME seeks a dedicated Special Education Functional Life Skills Teacher for The Guy E. Rowe Elementary School (K-3).

You will teach in a self-contained life skills setting with students who may have ID, Autism, and OHI, focusing on functional academics, ADL, communication, and inclusive participation. Candidates must hold Maine certification 282 or be able to obtain it with the appropriate endorsements.

Qualifications

• Special Education certification/endorsements as required by Maine law.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and specialists.
• Experience or coursework in functional life skills instruction is preferred.
