Job summary

NewGen Technologies, Inc. in Herndon, VA seeks a QA/test engineer to validate an integrated financial configuration capability across ServiceNow, APIs, and AWS. You will design traceable test scenarios and verify business rules, RBAC, data segregation, and end-to-end processing.

Responsibilities include validating audit history, data persistence, and effective dates, with strong evidence- and defect-management practices. Must communicate clearly in written and verbal form to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years testing enterprise workflow and integration solutions.
• Proficiency with Postman, SQL and API testing.
• Experience validating role-based access, data segregation and audit behavior.
• Strong requirements-traceability, evidence-management and defect-management skills.

• - MBI Clearance
• - 3+ years testing enterprise workflow and integration solutions
• - Experience with functional, API, integration, and end-to-end testing
• - Strong requirements-traceability, evidence-management, and defect-management skills
• - Experience validating role-based access, data segregation, and audit behavior
• - Experience using Postman, SQL, or comparable API and data-validation tools
• - ServiceNow ATF experience preferred
• - Federal financial or travel-and-expense testing experience preferred
• - Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
