Job summary

Zantech in Arlington, VA seeks a skilled Functional Analyst to support the DIW program on-site. The role translates business and mission requirements into testable specifications across the RTD Web, RTD Mobile Photo App, and Compliance Suite, coordinating with PMO and development teams to keep releases on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of BA/FA experience, DoD familiarity, and strong testing and CM capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Requirements analysis and functional/cross-functional allocation of user needs.
• Experience in WBS/POA&M development, tracking and on-time execution.
• Proficient in software testing: component/module, upgrade, capacity, interface, performance, regression and stress testing.
• Experience documenting Functional Specifications using agency templates.
• Experience with Configuration Management and participation in CM control processes.
• Ability to gather functional, technical and interface requirements and ensure traceability.
• Experience with cost estimating support and coordinating with system/database admins.
• Strong written and verbal communication with Government PMO stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements; allocate resources accordingly.
• Participate in WBS/POA&M development and ensure on-time execution.
• Perform testing across components, upgrades, capacity, interfaces and performance.
• Develop Test Plans mapped to government-approved Functional Specifications.
• Assist in updating Functional Specifications using agency templates.
• Support CM planning and participate in CM control boards.
• Gather requirements and ensure traceability to final design.
• Coordinate with system/database admins to resolve production issues.
