Description

The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)/Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Functional Management Office (FMO) requires the support of a Logistics Analyst 2. This position will provide on-site functional office support (OSFOS) for MRO at one of the three Air Logistics Complexes (ALCs) and the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG): Warner Robins ALC (WR-ALC), located at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), GA; Oklahoma City ALC (OC-ALC), located at Tinker Air Force Base, OK; Ogden ALC (OO-ALC), located at Hill Air Force Base, UT; and, AMARG at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ.

This role includes assisting government personnel in ensuring planning and requirements for the future MRO system operations and business process changes are addressed as the Government plans for the implementation of MRO. Expertise on this On-Site Functional Office Support (OSFOS) effort shall include; schedule management; legacy systems transition analysis and support during execution; and Doctrine, Organization, Training, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities - Policy (DOT_LPF-P) efforts, training materials review and classroom support, all to prepare and support AFSC's organic depot complexes for planning and execution of the implementation of the MRO solution and new business processes. The final aspect of this effort will be a support role assisting government personnel in preparing the sites for synchronization of DOT_LPF-P efforts and implementation preparation activities which must be completed and in place to support the fielding of the MRO software solution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works with Subject Matter Experts to develop understanding of logistics business processes and support business process re-engineering.
  • Supports logistics transformation activities, planning, and execution.
  • Develops and reviews various artifacts for the Government.
  • Applies technical knowledge to support data team meetings, planning, and implementation preparation activities.
  • Provides site specific insight into MRO site implementation plans.
  • Supports Government Integration Testing (GIT) and reviews user test plans and scripts, as well as detailed system step-by-step procedures and provide recommended changes.
  • Reviews user training documentation and provide inputs on products related to user training and communication products.
  • Provides on-site support for classroom training classes. The support includes providing shop-floor input, review of materials, and SME reach back.
  • Provided support to MRO Government Product Managers, Product Owners, and government subject matter experts on scrum teams in support of the MRO development effort.
  • Supports MRO Data Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) process with a focus on data transformation activities to support implementation readiness.

Education/Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience of which at least six (6) years must be specialized.
  • Specialized experience includes superior functional knowledge of task-order-specific requirements or developing functional requirements for complex integrated IT systems. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction on requirements that are complex to analyze, plan, and program.
  • A bachelor's or higher degree including applied and professional degrees such as BAS, BBA, BS, BA, or others may be substituted for a portion of the required general experience, consistent with applicable qualification standards
  • Knowledge of AFSC Depot operations, to include financial and logistics
  • Knowledge of Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) legacy logistics Information Technology (IT) systems supporting AFSC Depot operations.
  • General knowledge of the MRO program and SAFe agile development principles and roles.

Language Ability: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Mathematical Ability: Basic skills required.

Reasoning Ability: Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze problems/issues, gather data and information, evaluate, and recommend alternative solutions.

Job Knowledge and Computer Skills: Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.
