Heartland Behavior in Topeka, KS is seeking compassionate individuals to join our ABA team supporting children with Autism in home or community settings. No prior experience required; we provide full training and paid training hours to help you start a rewarding career.

Positions start part-time with flexible afternoon/evening hours, and you will work one-on-one with clients, documenting progress and collaborating with families and clinicians to enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation to commute to client sites or home visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions.
• Serve as integral member of clinical team, implementing skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and families; collaborate with families and providers.

Need to Knows:

• Services will be provided in clients' homes or in the community-based locations.
• All positions start off part-time.
• Required to take the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
• Minimum 6 month commitment required
