Job summary

ComForCare in Florida is seeking dedicated caregivers to help clients stay independent at home. You will provide personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities, enabling clients to live comfortably in their own homes.

Applicants should have CNA or HHA certification, a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and a willingness to be screened through Florida’s background check process. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Certification as a CNA or HHA is required.
• Strong desire to serve and help others in home care.
• Reliable transportation and drivings license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities to promote independence in their homes.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Plan, prepare and assist with meals.
• Manage household tasks and errands.
• Provide companionship and respite support for families.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• A state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required - we can help with HHA if needed.
• Reliable Transportation a Must - Drivers License preferred
• Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus.
