Job summary

San Diego County Office of Education’s PASS AmeriCorps program seeks 35 full-time members to mentor and support at-promise youth across 30 partnering schools in Oceanside, Vista, and nearby districts. The 10-month term runs Sept 2026–June 2027, with hours 9 per day, Monday to Friday, some evenings and weekends.

Members receive a living allowance of $3,000 per month, extensive orientation, coaching, ongoing professional training, and access to education awards upon completion.

Qualifications

• 22 years or older.
• Associate degree or higher.
• Car highly recommended with Driver's license & insurance.
• Preferred 1–2 years’ experience working with youth.
• Spanish-speaking a plus.
• Complete SDCOE and AmeriCorps applications, fingerprinting/background check.
