Job summary

A regional educational organization in California is seeking 35 full-time members for the PASS AmeriCorps Program. This initiative focuses on mentoring at-promise youth in gang-impacted neighborhoods and provides a range of services to improve academics and engagement. Members will serve in schools, 10 hours a day, from October to June, and receive a monthly living allowance, educational awards, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications include an associate degree and experience with youth being preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years or older.
• Car recommended with driver's license and insurance.
• Experience with youth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention/intervention services in schools.
• Support academic engagement and attendance.
• Mentor and build character in youth.
