Job summary

Porta-King Building Systems based in Montgomery City, MO is seeking full-time welders for day shifts. You will perform MIG welding, use cutting torches, read detailed drawings, and operate chop saw and band saw as part of fabricating components.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to use various tools and power tools including chop saw and band saw.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 20 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to climb a ladder repetitively.
• Must be able to read and write using basic English and perform basic math.
• Must be able to read detailed drawings.
• Must be able to MIG weld and use a cutting torch; plasma cutter preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background screenings including a drug test.
