Job summary
ESFM, the corporate Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA, has a full-time Warehouse/Delivery opening at Pfizer in Pearl River, NY. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, forklift, and power jack experience are preferred; valid driver’s license may be required depending on vehicle used.
Training and benefits available after probation. Location: Pfizer facility in Pearl River.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.
- Must have forklift and power jacks experience.
- Valid driver’s license required based on vehicle to be used according to state or federal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Withdraw merchandise and supplies from the warehouse.
- Verify load against products ordered; prepare delivery tickets or shipping papers.
- Load products, supplies, mail and cash onto vehicle; drive to designated locations; unload and distribute items.
- Monitor product usage; manage inventory turns and ensure proper handling of perishable items when needed.
- Maintain truck logs and perform daily vehicle checks; report vehicle problems and secure the vehicle.
- Perform the job safely while adhering to company safety standards.
