Job summary

Highline Warren in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. You will follow order instructions, record quantities accurately, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stock maintenance, and preparing orders for shipment. Applicants should be at least 18, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a background check and drug screen; Monday, Tuesday, and Friday

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Drug test and background check may be required.
• Availability: Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.

• Select stock according to store order (picking and packing instructions).
• Accurately record quantities selected (or shorted) maintaining the company standard error rate.
• Adhere to all safety rules and practices designed to ensure safety of operations and condition of stock.
• Perform assigned tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform general physical activities in warehouse; loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment.
• Read work orders and received verbal instructions for work assignments.
• Fill and complete order receipts.
• Transport filled orders to and from shipping area.
• Stock shelves and kept stock clean and in sequence.
• This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention.

A Warehouse Associate is responsible for their portion of the warehouse function (picking, scanning or shipping). This person is accountable for the suitable handling and processing of all orders received in the picking, scanning, shipping, receiving and/or returns areas. Though each associate is assigned to a section of the warehouse, all are trained in the various areas and work where needed most as directed by their supervisor.
