Job summary

The California Virtual Academy, IQ and Insight School Psychologist Team seeks a 3rd year School Psychologist Intern to support students in a virtual K-12 setting. You will conduct assessments, provide consultation to schools and families, and participate in IEP meetings under supervision of credentialed staff.

Responsibilities include cognitive, academic, processing, and social-emotional assessments; collaboration with the SPED team; and ensuring compliance with IDEA timelines and district

Qualifications

• Must be a current 3rd year school psychology intern in CA.
• Internship PPS credential in School Psychology required; NASP/CAEP endorsement preferred.
• Ability to conduct psycho-educational assessments and participate in IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments and file reviews virtually or in-person.
• Assist with behavior plans and functional behavior assessments under supervision.
• Present comprehensive assessment reports at IEP meetings.
• Support IEP teams with recommendations aligned to state standards.
• Attend IEPs to ensure current and compliant plans.
