Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a veterinary assistant or equivalent
• Proficiency in safe animal handling and restraint
• Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and patient care principles
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures

Responsibilities

• Support exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgery, and dentistry
• Provide safe patient handling and restraint
• Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas
• Review plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients
• Build positive client relationships through education and attentive service
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and spaces
