Job summary

Mountain Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team and help create exceptional experiences for clients and patients during exams and outpatient visits. You will assist with exams, coordinate schedules, and help ensure smooth operations while delivering high-quality patient care and client service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in veterinary assistant/animal care preferred.
• Safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and patient care principles.
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures.
• Experience collecting patient histories and obtaining patient weights and vital signs preferred.
• Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday.
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service.
