Job summary

The Los Angeles Convention Center seeks a skilled Painter to maintain and beautify our iconic venue in downtown Los Angeles. This full-time, on-site role requires journeyman-level painting across new construction, renovations, and event setups, with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities include drywall prep, finishing, staining, color work, and occasional support of other trades. Union represented position with base pay around $33.63/hour.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level painting experience required.
• Ability to perform drywall prep and surface finishing.

Responsibilities

• Performs journeyman level painting throughout LACC.
• Completes new construction, tenant improvements, drywall taping, mudding and finishing.
• Stains and finishes furniture; interior and exterior painting of all surfaces.
• Patch walls, roof repair, concrete sealing, sign making; may assist other trades.
