Qualifications

• Active Registered Vascular Tech (RVT)/Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) registration required.
• Registry through ARDMS or CCI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and educates patients on procedures.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and maintains documentation.
• Maintains exam rooms and equipment per OSHA standards.
• Assesses situations and chooses appropriate actions in emergencies.
• Participates in professional development activities.

Skills

Knowledge of JCAHO, OSHA, ICAVL and other State and Federal guidelines

Ability to assist patients in positioning and preparing for exam

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Ability to maintain flexible working hours
