Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis in Ormond Beach, FL. You will inspect, diagnose and perform a broad range of undercar repairs, including brakes and tires, and complete state inspections.

The role requires 2+ years in automotive repair, and preferred ASE certifications; candidate must be able to lift heavy items and work on vehicles throughout the shift. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair.
• State inspection license(s) preferred.
• A.S.E. Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Undercar repairs including brakes, struts and shocks.
• Complete state-mmandated inspections; change oil and filters; check fluids.
• Replace worn parts and dismount/mount/rotate/balance tires.
