Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Patrol position in Hazleton, PA. You will help safeguard clients across industries, monitor and patrol designated areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

You will document security-related information, support access control, and collaborate with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, caring, teamwork, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Computer or tablet proficiency is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain access-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate concerns per site procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged property, policy violations, and other security concerns to site leadership.
