Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Sylva, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide professional service to clients and staff in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include regular patrols, access control, incident documentation, and collaboration with site leadership. Minimum requirements cover law enforcement or military police background and a valid background check and vaccination considerations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• CPO certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
