Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies calmly according to protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, guiding individuals to departments as needed.
• Document incidents and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
