Job summary

Inner Journey Counseling, LLC. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Mental Health Therapist to deliver quality counseling to clients. The role includes assessments, tailoring treatment plans, and conducting individual, couples, and/or family therapy sessions.

Candidates must hold PA licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/LMHC/PsyD or similar), with 2+ years of counseling experience. A hybrid work model with some in-person hours is required; confidentiality and ongoing professional development

Job description

We are currently looking for a dedicated, compassionate and experienced Full-Time Mental Health Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality mental health counseling to our clients. This role involves assessing clients' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans, maintaining case notes and providing therapy sessions.

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, couples and/or family therapy sessions.
• Maintain a minimum case load of 25 sessions per week.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals for comprehensive care.
• Maintain confidential client records and notes.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in mental health treatment.

• Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Psychologists, and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) are all encouraged to apply
• Counselors must be licensed by PA State Board to provide counseling (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD or similar credentials)
• 2+ years experience counseling individuals, couples, and/or families
• Candidate cannot have their own solo private practice or be working with another group practice
• Must be willing to do hybrid work requiring some in-person hours
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
