Job summary

Midtown Athletic Clubs is seeking a Tennis Professional who is passionate about helping members and will foster their love of racquet sports through high-quality coaching. The role includes leading group and private lessons for adults and youth, upholding Safe Play standards, and inspiring players with a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Have relevant coaching experience including group and private lessons for adults and youth.
• Safe Play certification or willingness to become certified prior to hiring.
• Possess one nationally recognized racquet sports certification or be willing to certify within 3 months of hire.
• Have an NTRP rating of 4.0 or equivalent and be able to demonstrate skills.
• Demonstrate a growth mindset and be passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities

• Lead group and private tennis lessons for adults and youth.
• Maintain Safe Play certification or pursue certification before hire.
• Demonstrate NTRP 4.0 level skills to players of all ages.
• Foster growth mindset and enthusiasm to inspire members daily.

Competitive Compensation

Depending on credentials and experience, full-time Midtown coaches earn, including the value of the full-time benefits package, and considering 30 hours of instruction per week, between $65k and $85k, annually.
