Posted on May 27, 2019

The California Community Foundation (CCF) is a public, charitable organization serving Los Angeles County since 1915. We encourage philanthropy by individuals, families, companies and organizations, and serve as a trusted steward of their charitable funds and legacies. We make grants and collaborate with nonprofits in specific areas and concentrate attention and resources on the needs of the most vulnerable individuals and groups in the community. CCF convenes and engages nonprofit, private and public sector partners to increase philanthropy and incorporate philanthropists into community problem solving in Los Angeles.

CCF is a dynamic environment that values individuals who want a purpose more than a position. We have a diverse and talented team of experienced and passionate advocates for our community. We seek individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting highly focused on results and impact.

CCF is hiring a full-time, temporary program analyst as part of the Census team. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Initiatives, this position is responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of reporting for the foundation’s Census initiative. This is a temporary position beginning in May 2019 and through November 2020.

  • Coalition Management: Supporting oversight for the Los Angeles Regional Census Table coalition activities and associated projects.
  • Community Relations: Works with philanthropic, business, community and government stakeholders to advance CCF’s census strategies. Represents and provides information about the 2020 census and CCF at community events and meetings with foundation partners, constituencies, and key stakeholder groups.
  • Communications: Drafts internal materials such as briefing memos and external materials such as reports to funders and partners. Prepares and delivers presentations both internally and externally.
  • Convenings Coordinator: Provides planning and logistical support on meetings and key events, such as securing venues, arranging for catering, handling onsite needs, and post event follow-up (audiovisual, production, dissemination of meeting materials, recording minutes, and post-event follow-up activities).
