Job summary

Cumberland Valley School District is seeking a full-time Teacher's Assistant at Sporting Hill Elementary (High-Needs School). You will support educators in day-to-day classroom tasks and fill absences within the building.

Responsibilities include facilitating large group instruction from provided plans, delivering 1:1 or small group reinforcement, and assisting students with notetaking and test prep. A bachelor's degree is required, with 30 hours of annual training to maintain Highly Qualified

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must complete 30 hours of training annually to maintain Highly Qualified Status and professional development.
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods, bend, stretch and lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating large group instruction and activities from provided plans.
• Providing one-to-one or small group reinforcement of skills for students.
