Job summary

Chambliss Center for Children, through Newton Child Development Center, is hiring a full-time Teacher Assistant – Floater. You will move between classrooms to support infants, toddlers, and PreK, assisting with care, meals, naps, and learning activities. No classroom experience required; we will train you.

The role values dependability, kindness, and teamwork. Location: Chattanooga, TN. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am–5pm.

• Must pass fingerprint background check.
• No classroom experience required; training provided.

About the Job

We are looking for a full-time Teacher Assistant to join our team as a floater. A floater does not stay in one classroom. Instead, you will move between our classrooms to help where you are needed most. One day you may help with infants, and the next day you may help with toddlers or PreK. If you like variety and enjoy working with kids of all ages, this job is a great fit.

Pay and Benefits

Pay starts at $13 with high school andlittle experience; higher with additional education and experience.
Full time employees receive paid vacation and sick leave, as well as paid holidays.
