LearnWell in Valhalla, NY is seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team for the 26-27 school year in a fast-paced behavioral health facility. This full-time role supports adolescents in a small classroom while they receive treatment.

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Valhalla, NY on a full-time basis for the 26-27 school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescentschool-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time. Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:00pm.
