Job summary

LearnWell in Brattleboro, VT is seeking two passionate and creative teachers to join our team on a full-time basis for the school year. You will provide academic support to K-12 students in a behavioral health facility, delivering small-group instruction and individualized assistance.

The role requires planning daily lessons, tracking attendance and progress, and communicating with families and care teams while maintaining a positive learning environment for 8–15 students per class.

Qualifications

• Must hold a B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Hold VT state teaching license.
• Experience working with K-12 students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to understand subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable transportation.

For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate into the classroom. Position

We are seeking two passionate and creative teachers to join our team in Brattleboro, VT on a full-time basis for the school year. This position involves working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to K-12 school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
• Provide individualized assistance to students and regularly communicate progress as needed.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
• Support classroom operations in small groups with class sizes typically ranging from 8 to 15 students.

Position entails a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm.
