Job summary

FedEx is seeking a full-time Swing Driver in Jamestown, NY to operate company vehicles, deliver and pickup packages, and ensure shuttle and route coverage across the station’s service area.

You'll perform related customer service functions, follow FMCSA safety rules, and maintain an excellent driving record. A high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months courier experience are preferred; 21+ and English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months courier experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the station's service area.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• English reading and speaking sufficient to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials.
• Must meet FMCSA safety regulations and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
• Provide route coverage within the station's service area.
• Provide related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
