Job summary

RocPerio & Implants in Rochester, NY is looking for a surgical dental assistant to join our high-tech team. You will support doctors and treatment coordinators, performing chairside assistance and helping manage digital workflows.

Ideal candidates have experience in dentistry, can multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable with Open Dental, digital x-rays, and 3D scanning. Training to work in periodontal surgery is available for the right applicant.

Qualifications

• Past experience in dentistry; NYS RDA/CDA preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy office.
• Willing to learn periodontal surgery tech and digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Sterilization and storage of dental instruments.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Learn and use digital x-ray, digital impressions, and on-site 3D printing lab technologies.
