Applitrack is seeking a Substitute/Non Certified Substitute Teacher at Parkway Elementary School, Missouri, to support student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You will deliver the lesson plan, supervise students, and maintain classroom routines.

Requirements include a Missouri DESE substitute certificate, or eligibility via HS diploma, associate degree or higher, 36 college credits, or completion of a 20-hour online substitute training.

Qualificações

• To obtain the Substitute Certificate: HS diploma, associate degree or higher, 36 college credits, or 20-hour online training.

Responsabilidades

• Attend work regularly and punctually.
• Telework when requested by the District.
• Report to the building principal or school secretary on arrival.
• Review plans and schedules with the principal or secretary for the day.
• Maintain established routines and procedures of the classroom.
• Teach the lesson as planned by the classroom teacher.
• Consult with the principal before initiating non-specified procedures.
• Oversee pupil behavior in class, lunch and recess.
• Report in writing on the day's activities.
• Follow district policies and procedures.
• Other duties assigned.

Purpose

To enable each child to pursue their education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Essential Job Functions

• Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
• To "telework" when requested by the District.
• Reports to the building principal or school secretary upon arrival at the school building.
• Review with the principal, department head, team leader, or building secretary all plans, and schedules to be followed during the teaching day.
• Maintains as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which assigned.
• Teaches the lesson as planned by the classroom teacher.
• Consults as appropriate with the building principal, department head, or team leader before initiating any teaching or other procedures not specified by the absent classroom teacher.
• Assumes responsibility for overseeing pupil behavior in the class and during lunch and recess periods.
• Reports in writing on the day's activities at the conclusion of each teaching day.
• Follows all policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates.
• Other duties assigned.
