Job summary

Orange City School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute Intervention Specialist for Brady Middle School in Cleveland, Ohio. The position requires valid state licensure and the ability to manage student behavior and assist with mobility as needed.

Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, reliability, strong time management, and ethical conduct. The role is full-time and employed through the ESC with tentative dates in December 2026 through April 2027.

Qualifications

• Holds and maintains valid state department of education license/certificates as determined at the time of appointment.
• Behavioral management skills with training/work experience.
• Duties require agility, physical strength, and stamina for students with behavior problems or needing physical assistance (e.g., mobility, transferring, positioning, up to 35lbs).
• Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and willingness to take on challenging tasks.
• Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
• Meets mandated health screening requirements following a conditional offer of employment.
• Shows evidence of core computer competencies deemed essential at the time of hire.
