Job summary

Auto Value is hiring a Store Counter Sales Representative in Minnesota. You’ll greet customers, provide expert product advice, and ensure every customer leaves with the right parts and a great experience.

We welcome both full-time and part-time candidates who are passionate about cars, customer service, and teamwork. Experience in automotive parts helps, and you’ll stay current on promotions while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced store.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts knowledge or industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and parts catalogs (paper and digital).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide expert product advice.
• Help customers with parts lookup, paint mixing, returns, and non-application parts.
• Offer add-on products and stay current on promotions.
• Respond to phone inquiries to support commercial deliveries and in-store sales.
• Process transactions accurately while following store policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Support inventory tasks, freight check-in, labeling, and deliveries.

What You'll Do

As a Store Counter Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of Auto Value—greeting customers, offering expert product advice, and ensuring every customer leaves with the right parts and a great experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to retail and commercial customers.
• Could you help customers with parts lookup, paint mixing, returns, and non-application parts?
• You can offer valuable advice, suggest add-on products, and stay current on current promotions.
• Respond to phone inquiries to support commercial deliveries and in-store sales.
• Process transactions accurately while following store policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Support inventory tasks, freight check-in, labeling, and deliveries.
