ABOVE & BEYOND NANNY SERVICES INC is seeking a dependable nanny to care for three children in a busy, physician family in Minneapolis. The role features a split shift schedule with morning and afternoon/evening blocks, totaling about 32.5–40 hours per week.

Duties include meals, homework help, enrichment activities, and light household tasks. Ideal candidates are calm, patient, active, and organized, with a warm, humorous demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Morning routine: wake, dress, feed the kids for the day and assist with morning drop-offs.
• Afternoon/evening routine: welcome child(ren) home, assist with homework, lead enrichment activities, supervise dinner and cleanup.
• Prepare child meals and guide through dinner.
• Lead active play, crafts, or outdoor activities.
• Manage bath time, bedtime prep and nightly routines.
• Light household duties: children's laundry twice a week, tidy spaces, light maintenance.

Location: Minneapolis

Children: 3 children ages 9yrs, 4.5yrs, 2.5 yrs

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday Split Shift (~32.5-40 hrs/week) Morning Shift: 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM Afternoon/Evening Shift: 2:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 / hour (based on experience & relevant education)

Meet Our Family

We are a busy, loving, dual-physician family with three bright, high-energy, and curious kids who are excited to welcome our next amazing nanny into the fold! We've loved having au pairs in the past, so our kids are super comfortable and familiar with having a great caregiver as part of their daily routine.

The Kids:

• 9-Year-Old Boy (3rd Grade): Loves sports, running around, fishing, and outdoor play!
• 4.5-Year-Old Boy: Always on the move, into sports, dancing, wrestling, and learning new things.
• 2.5-Year-Old Girl: Our youngest who works hard to keep up with her big brothers, loves music, and adores being part of the action!

Our pet free household revolves around kindness, respect, inclusion, and a LOT of active fun. Whether it's an impromptu dance party, a trip to the local playground, singing, or exploring nature, there is never a dull moment!

What the Day Looks Like

Morning Routine (6:30 AM - 9:00 AM):

• Help get the kids up, dressed, and fed for the day.
• Assist with morning drop-offs at daycare/school as needed.

Afternoon/Evening Routine (2:30 PM / 4:00 PM - 8:30 PM):

• Welcome our oldest home from school (or pick up after Kids' Club on Tue/Wed/Thu).
• Help with homework/tutoring and fun enrichment activities.
• Prepare children's meals & guide them through dinner.
• Lead active play, creative projects, or outdoor activities.
• Handle bath time, bedtime prep, and evening hygiene routines.

Kid-Related Household Duties:

• Laundry: Children's laundry twice a week
• Tidying: Daily pickup of kid rooms, play areas, and the kitchen after meals.
• Light Maintenance: Vacuum kids' rooms/playroom; clean the kids' bathroom.
