Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Greenfield, IN is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehab team at Greenfield Healthcare Center. You will evaluate, treat, and develop plans to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills for residents, under physician orders.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelors and/or a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen patients’ medical charts and develop a treatment plan.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions.
• Instruct residents and caregivers to monitor speech and provide ways to practice new skills.
