Stride, Inc. is seeking an Intervention Specialist for grades 3-5 to support students with a wide range of learning and other disabilities.

The role involves adapting the K12 curriculum to student needs, developing and maintaining IEPs, and collaborating with general education teachers to reach individualized goals. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), a Master’s in Special Education, at least 3 years of experience in Special Education, and the ability to obtain Ohio

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s Degree with emphasis in Special Education.
• 3+ years of classroom experience in Special Education.
• Ability to obtain Ohio Certification.

Responsabilités

• Modify/adapt the K12 curriculum to meet state standards for each student.
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet student goals.
• Proctor achievement tests and other assessments, including alternate assessments as required.
• Travel up to 20% of the time.
