Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

• Knowledge of state standards and performance levels.
• Ability to assess students' needs and design differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the skill level of students and aligns classroom goals and activities to established state and local standards.
• Provides instruction in respective subject area(s) and uses real life applications and simulations.
• Teaches inquiry techniques and encourages problem solving.
• Maintains classroom discipline and keeps attendance, grades, and other required records.
• Collaborates with staff to integrate subject-specific skills across the curriculum.
