Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Economy Honda Superstore in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a Shuttle Driver to assist with vehicle movement, shuttle rides, and valet pickups with a focus on outstanding customer service. You will help maintain dealership appearance and support service teams.

The role requires punctuality, strong communication, and the ability to move vehicles safely. Full-time schedule with 5 days a week, Sundays off, and standard benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and drop off customers to and from the dealership, ensuring punctual and courteous service.
• Maintain a positive, customer-friendly attitude to enhance the service experience.
• Assist in organizing the dealership lot and parking vehicles.
• Keep the lot and shuttle vehicles clean and well-maintained.
• Work with service teams to support dealership operations.
• Keep trip records, including passenger names and pick-up/drop-off points.
• Notify dispatcher or service manager of vehicle maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and direct customers to staff.

Job Description

TheShuttle Driverwill be responsible forassisting with vehicle movement, giving shuttle rides and performing valet pickups and drop offs as well asmaintaining the dealership’s appearance while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and drop off customers to and from the dealership, ensuring punctual and courteous service.
• Maintain a positive, customer-friendly attitude to enhance the service experience.
• Assist in organizing the dealership lot, including parking vehicles in designated spaces.
• Keep the lot and shuttle vehicles clean and well-maintained for a professional appearance.
• Work closely with the service teams to support overall dealership operations.
• Keeptrip records,including passenger names, and pick-up/drop-off points.
• Notifies dispatcher or service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.

$15 / hour

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Physically able to drive and move vehicles
• Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Preferred Qualifications:

Compensation (Hourly):

• $18 / hour

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• 5 days a week / 2days off
• Sundays off
