Restaurant Associates is seeking a full-time WAITER/WAITRESS at a New York Times dining location in New York, NY. The role requires catering experience and offers a schedule Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a fixed pay rate of $24.00 per hour.

• Previous catering experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly in the dining room and take orders following the established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Advise guests on menu items and allergens; accommodate reasonable requests.
• Communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate orders and special requests.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork; stay flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Keep the dining area clean, safe, and neat; ensure proper setup before and after service.
• Operate equipment such as beverage machines, coffee makers, and related tools.
• Collaborate with staff from other departments during events; perform other duties as assigned.
