Cypress Pointe Health & Wellness Center in Houston, TX is hiring an Activity Director to lead social and recreational programs for residents. You will coordinate trips, arrange transportation, and support event setup while promoting engagement and well‑being among residents.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and two years experience in geriatrics, recreation or social administration.
• Experience in skilled nursing or healthcare Activity Director role is a must.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic.
• Must be able to work with others in setting up for events.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and lead a wide scope of social and recreational activities for residents.
• Plan off-campus trips and attend many of the trips.
• Assist in arranging transportation for events and programs.
• Coordinate the Community Garden Club and coordinate with ground crews.
