Job summary

Community LIFE in Somerset, PA is seeking a Wheelchair Van Driver to transport older adults to the day center, appointments and activities. This full-time position requires a PA driver’s license, a clean record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma, at least five years of driving experience, and prior passenger transport or geriatric care experience is helpful. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:00 am -3:30 pm with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of driving experience required.
• Prior passenger transport experience with mobility needs preferred.
• DOT physical must be passable; valid PA driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Transport older adults to and from the day center, residences, and appointments.
• Deliver medical equipment and assist with activities as needed.
• Follow schedules and ensure safe, courteous transportation.
