Schedule & Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week; schedule will vary based on training needs. Must be available for days, evenings, nights/weekends, new account launches, and regional travel.

Position Requirements

• Driver’s License: Yes
• MVR / Driving Position: Yes
• Armed License: Yes — must currently possess or be eligible/able to obtain
• TWIC: Yes — must currently possess or be eligible/able to obtain
• Age Requirement: 21+

Experience

• Security: 5+ year years
• Customer Service: 1+ year
• Hospital: 5 year minimum; healthcare security experience strongly preferred

Duties/Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and adjust programs accordingly.

Must have Demonstrated Proficiency In:

• Defensive tactics
• Retraining for skill maintenance
• Curriculum for security employee preparedness

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Create and manage training schedules, testing modules, and assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Highly Preferred:

• Instructor Certification in security-related defensive tactics (e.g., De-escalation, Handcuffing, CPR/First Aid).

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience delivering training in relevant security or defensive tactics.
• Valid WA state Security License.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

This role may involve travel to various transit sites and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate training schedules.
