Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Columbus, OH. You will monitor access points, screen visitors and belongings, and communicate clearly with students, staff, and guests to create a welcoming, secure environment.

The role involves responding to incidents, patrolling, and enforcing client site policies. Minimum 1 year security experience, high school diploma, and background/drug screening are required;

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and address emergencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter.
