Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Professional Security Officer for a full-time role in Volo, IL. The position offers a wage of $23.00 per hour with 1st/2nd shift splits. Responsibilities include access control, patrols, and prioritizing safety while delivering excellent customer service.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Pre-employment screening and training are provided during onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Age 18 or older.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Proficient with computers and basic technology.
• CPR/AED/FA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
