Securitas USA is seeking an Experienced Security Officer for a full-time role in the Salt Lake City area. The position offers a wage range of $19.50-$21.50 per hour, with location-dependent pay and schedules.

You will monitor premises, manage access control, patrol multiple sites, and enforce client site regulations to maintain safety. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential, along with vigilance and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Security experience required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
