Job summary

The Lampeter-Strasburg School District is seeking a full-time (12-month), permanent, second shift custodian from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., anticipated to start October 2026. The position is split between the Early Childhood Center and Lampeter Elementary School, with four hours at each building.

Qualifications

• Current PA Criminal History background check
• Current FBI Criminal background check
• Current Child Abuse background check
• TB test results within the past year

Responsibilities

• Custodian for the Lampeter-Strasburg School District on a 12‑month, full‑time basis, working second shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) and split between the Early Childhood Center and Lampeter Elementary School with four hours at each building.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and use a ladder.
• Operate as part of a team and comply with district safety and cleanliness standards; some overtime may be required.

Required Qualifications Upon Offer Of Employment

• Current PA Criminal History background check
• Current FBI Criminal background check
• Current Child Abuse background check
• Proof of TB test, results must be within the past year
