Job summary

Qualifications

• Skilled in the maintenance of school district building facilities, equipment, and grounds relative to caring, cleaning, repairing and replacing.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance activities of building facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by head custodian, building evaluator, or custodial supervisor.
• Follow state, school board and school policies relative to the safety and security of buildings, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain and/or prepare equipment and supplies as necessary for various tasks.
• Report safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Submit requests for janitorial materials, supplies, equipment as needed.
• Work cooperatively with other custodial staff and school district personnel to perform duties.
