Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Food Service Worker for a full-time role at Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Previous catering and food service experience is required.

Qualifications

• Previous catering and food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weights and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays safely between work stations and storage areas.
• Stores food properly following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Follows approved recipes and portion controls for quality and serving temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and relays concerns to supervisor.
