Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Scan Coordinator / Vendor Receiver Back Up to support store operations and customer service excellence. The role requires maintaining pricing and shelf tags, scanning vendors, and managing related documentation to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Full Time Scan Coordinator /Vendor Receiver Back Up

This is a full time position. Primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying customer's needs and expectations. This requires maintaining: price file, shelf tag accuracy, and signs for the entire store. It also requires accurately and effectively checking in DSD vendors and maintaining all documents and copies for proper accountability.

PERSONAL SKILLS. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in and successfully complete training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.

LANGUAGE SKILLS. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos (in English). Ability to write simple correspondence (in English ). Ability to effectively present information in one-on- one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization who only speak English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.

REASONING ABILITY. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGULATIONS. Complete Company's training including but not limited to: new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, harassment, Scanning Coordinator technical skills training, Scanning Coordinator Certification, Vendor Receiving technical skills training, and Vendor Receiving Certification.

Compensation
  • Pay Transparency: Harris Teeter reasonably expects to pay between $15.10/hour and $22.25/hour for this role as a newly hired associate. Pay may depend on previous experience and skill sets of the applicant.
  • You will be eligible for Harris Teeter's group benefit plans that pertain to your position upon the completion of applicable waiting periods. Your eligibility for these benefits is subject to the terms of the applicable plan and Harris Teeter policy.
