Your Day at Lowe's

Pro Sales Specialists are active throughout the store, engaging with customers, answering phones, and discussing project needs. Your focus will be on communicating with Pro customers, understanding their project requirements, and providing solutions to help them succeed.

Providing expert consulting ensures our Pro customers' needs are met efficiently, helping them complete their jobs accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the Pro business to assist with locating, demonstrating, selecting, quoting, and ordering merchandise.
  • Coordinate with Lowe's Pro Supply to order products via the Fulfillment and Delivery network.
  • Inform customers about service, brand, and value benefits of using Lowe's Pro Supply services.
  • Utilize CRM to build customer relationships, streamline processes, and increase sales and visibility.
  • Promote Pro rewards, credit solutions, and the Pro wallet.
  • Provide information on stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties related to Lowe's programs.
  • Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service and understand store-wide purchasing trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years sales experience, with ability to identify and sell products based on customer needs.
  • 1-2 years customer service experience, including resolving issues, assisting with product location, greeting, answering phones, and building customer relationships.
  • Ability to sit, bend, stand, move around, and lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • Availability for varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Proficiency with retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Obtain any necessary sales-related licensure or registration required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.
  • Experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including special orders.
  • Relevant professional certifications.
  • Bilingual skills.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or support of neighboring stores.

Working Conditions

Conditions vary by location, including indoor and outdoor environments, exposure to weather extremes, noise, and moving equipment. Lifting guidelines limit single lifts to 75 pounds, with team lifts for heavier loads. Powered equipment use requires proper training.
