Qualifications

• 1+ years veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing RVT in Ohio
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, monitoring
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Radiology positioning and safety protocols
• Medication administration and drug calculations
• Lab sample collection and in-house diagnostics
• Accurate medical record documentation
• Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint
• Client education and communication

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room and outpatient workflow for exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate, thorough medical records and treatment documentation
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly
• Support veterinarians during outpatient procedures and treatments while advocating for high-quality care
• Build positive relationships with clients through education and attentive service
